Come on in and meet us! There's always a lot happening! Remedial Education, special instruction designed to help students catch up to a desired level of academic achievement. In the United States and Canada, remedial education is common at all levels of schooling, from preschools through colleges and universities. Here at Ames, remedial education programs focus on developing students’ basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Ms. McGee uses the push-in-method as much as possible, as she works with specific groups of kids that need her assistance to help facilitate learning in a more systematic occurrence.
