We have just finished our Unit test and are now reading the story of IN THE ATTIC by Hiawyn Oram and illustrated by Satoshi Kitamura.
Here is a quick summary of the story:
"A boy uses his imagination to discover make believe worlds inside his attic. After spending the afternoon traveling to faraway places in the 'attic,' he tells his mother where he's been. She replies, 'but we don't have an attic.'"
